Can a PET\/Ct give a better localisation and diagnostique before a chirurgical biopsie?<br \/>\nThe surgerist cannot perfomr a biopsie because the lesion is not localised with mammo-echo.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small; color: #808080;\">(Sv. \u00f6vrs.) &#8221;En misst\u00e4nkt kn\u00f6l har setts p\u00e5 IRM (5 mm) och \u00e4r inte synlig p\u00e5 mammografi eller ultraljud. Kan en PET\/CT ge b\u00e4ttre lokalisering och diagnos innan kirurgisk biopsi? If you have a chance at some centers, you can make the puncture in the MRI. Those who do not have that option instead make a follow-up MRI breast after about 4 months to see if the change has possibly increased.<\/p>\n<p>PET-CT can only &#8221;see&#8221; changes over 5 mm, but it gives no further information than MRI breast. One can not receive any diagnosis with PET-CT, which only indicates that there is one. PET-CT is a tool to check and localize for dissemination of metastases to other sites in the body.<br \/>\nLocation and propagation of a local change in the breast be much better with the MR than PET CT. The MRI including contrast can also measure the signal curve to differentiate benign from malignant\u00a0 disease.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small; color: #808080;\">(Sv. \u00f6vrs.) &#8221;Vid tveksamheter vad g\u00e4ller mammo och ulj s\u00e5 \u00e4r det MR br\u00f6st (<em>MRM<\/em>) som g\u00e4ller. Om man har m\u00f6jlighet vid vissa centra s\u00e5 kan man g\u00f6ra punktion i MR. De som inte har den m\u00f6jligheten g\u00f6r ist\u00e4llet en uppf\u00f6ljande MR-br\u00f6st efter cirka 4 m\u00e5n f\u00f6r att se om f\u00f6r\u00e4ndringen har ev \u00f6kat.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: small; color: #808080;\">PET-CT kan bara &#8221;se&#8221; f\u00f6r\u00e4ndringar \u00f6ver 5 mm men det ger ju ingen ytterligare information \u00e4n MR-br\u00f6st. Man f\u00e5r ingen som helst diagnos med PET-CT som endast visar att d\u00e4r finns n\u00e5got. PET-CT \u00e4r s\u00e5ledes mer ett redskap f\u00f6r att kontrollera och lokalisera ev. spridning av metastaser till andra st\u00e4llen i kroppen.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: small; color: #808080;\">Lokalisation och utbredning av en lokal f\u00f6r\u00e4ndring i br\u00f6stet ses mycket b\u00e4ttre med MR \u00e4n med PET-CT.
